A young woman who was verbally abused by a foul-mouthed motorist near her home said she was left shaken and fearing for her safety after the incident.
Ebony Railton, 28, was driving home on her lunch break on January 8 when she said a man in a silver car pulled up beside her and began his tirade.
The video, which she later posted on her Facebook page, has received nearly 190,000 views and been shared more than 1400 times.
In the 18-second video, the middle-aged man calls Ms Railton a s**t while she repeatedly tells him the speed limit.

“You don’t need to f**king slam your brakes on, when the green light says go, you don’t sit at the f**king intersection for 10 seconds,” the man said.
“Learn how to f**king drive and get on a f**king diet.”
Ms Railton, a nurse and mother of one, claimed she was driving past roadworks on Liverpool Rd in Kilsyth, at the speed limit of 40km/h.
She later saw the man behind her at an intersection near a petrol station.
“I didn’t take off fast enough so I could see him waving his arms around,” Ms Railton said.
She reported the incident to Boronia police but claimed officers told her nothing could be done as there was no physical harm to her or damage to her property.
Ms Railton said she had shared the video to warn others.
“It’s extremely concerning someone can go to those lengths and completely verbally abuse you in public,” she said.
“Imagine if I was an old lady, I don’t know if he’d do the same thing.”
Ms Railton said she was concerned about retaliation and slept with her dogs on her bed that night “as a little alarm”.
She said she was amazed by the reactions she had received since posting the video.
“There’s been a lot of negatives but a lot of positives … I’ve got a tough outer shell and it doesn’t affect me,” she said.
