Nightclub regular Hayden Burley pleads guilty to drug trafficking

A party animal who regularly attends popular Prahran hotspots such as Revolver and the Breakfast Club has been nabbed trafficking GHB.

A Melbourne nightclub regular has been nabbed dealing GHB after he was swooped on by police.

Hayden Burley, 30, appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday where he pleaded guilty to trafficking 1,4-Butanediol, trafficking a drug of dependence and possessing a Schedule 4 drug.

He also pleaded guilty to handling proceeds of crime.

Burley, who appeared via video link from his Eildon home, initially faced 21 charges but most were withdrawn.

Burley, who was living in Prahran at the time, was charged by Prahran detectives on September 11, 2024.

Burley flaunted a regular presence at popular nightclubs such as The Breakfast Club and Revolver as well as music festivals such as Esoteric and Pitch on his social media.

He grew up in Ferntree Gully and attended St. Joseph’s College before he started plying his trade as a plumber.

Burley will face a directions hearing in the Melbourne County Court on May 15.

His bail was extended by Magistrate Donna Bakos with specific conditions which include a curfew from 10pm to 5am.
