Donutopia Boronia offers a doughnut pizza
If you struggle to choose just one doughnut flavour, this Boronia store has just the thing. In what is being called a world first, their pizza doughnuts offer eight sweet flavours in one — and it’s not the only product tempting people through the doors.

A doughnut pizza, mouth-watering snack packs and impressive flavour combinations are tempting customers at a new Boronia store.
Donutopia opened three months ago on Dorset Rd and sweet tooths are flocking to try its impressive range of plain and filled doughnuts, all made fresh on site.
Company director Manny Aslami said the store’s “world-first” 35cm pizza doughnut allowed customers to indulge in eight different doughnut varieties and choose the toppings.
“It’s designed like a pizza and you can choose your different fillings,” Mr Aslami said.
He said they also offered customers the chance to design their own doughnuts.
“You can come in and create your own doughnut in store which is an Australian-first, the way we do it,” Mr Aslami said.
“The customer then gets to choose their own toppings and glazings, including nutella, chocolate or white chocolate.
“Then they can choose up to five toppings to accommodate to their tastebuds.”
He said a snowflake doughnut, with homemade custard and cream — which tasted like a vanilla slice — was one of their most popular items.
“The reason we do all these different flavours and concepts is to offer customers a lifetime experience,” Mr Aslami said.

“For a lot of kids it’s not just creating a doughnut, it’s creating a memory and a feeling of excitement.”
The store also sells gourmet pies, milkshakes, coffee and ice creams.
Mr Aslami said Boronia was the only Donutopia store at the moment, but they were looking to expand to other locations soon.
The store at 208 Dorset Rd is open 9am-8pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am-9pm Friday to Sunday.
