A man has been stabbed outside a Broadmeadows shopping centre this afternoon, in what police say was a targeted attack.

A MAN has been stabbed near Broadmeadows Central shopping centre this afternoon in what appears to have been a targeted attack.
Police allege four males approached the victim near the Woolworths supermarket exit of the shopping centre about 12.10pm.

Detective Senior Constable Matthew Wilson-Hall of Broadmeadows police said an altercation ensued and the victim received a stab wound to his lower leg.
The victim was taken to hospital in a stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
