A wild brawl at Broadmeadows Central that left two men in hospital has been caught on camera.
The dramatic fight outside Gloria Jean’s is believed to have been sparked by a man throwing a drink at another man just after 4pm Wednesday.
Chaos ensued as chairs and tables were flung and a man was pinned to the ground and beaten as innocent shoppers watched on in horror.
The fight took places only hours before Broadmeadows was placed in lockdown again as COVID-19 cases soar in the suburb.
In January last year a brawl took place in the same spot at Broadmeadows Central.
In eerily similar circumstances the Gloria Jeans furniture was used as projectiles in that fight too.
Hume crime investigation unit detectives are investigating yesterday’s fight which they believe involved up to six men.
Police said a 30-year-old man from Craigieburn and an 18-year-old man from Roxburgh Park were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Facebook comments said the issue was common at Broadmeadows Central and people were fed up with having to deal with it.
