Beanie-wearing alleged thief jumps fence to escape Glenroy home
A man caught on camera bursting through the patio doors of a Glenroy home, before scrambling over the back fence with a bag of alleged stolen goods was easy to spot. Detectives want to know if you recognise the man in the bright red beanie.

A fast-footed, agile accused burglar has been snapped allegedly fleeing a burgled house in Glenroy.
CCTV footage shows a man, wearing a bright red beanie, scaling the fence of a West St house with a bag of allegedly stolen goods on December 30.
Leading Senior Constable Kendra Jackson said police believe the man broke into the house about 7pm.
“After ransacking the house, he exited through a rear sliding door with personal valuables of the homeowner,” she said.
Detectives have released images of a man they believe could help them get to the bottom of the theft.
He described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, aged between 25-35 years old with a solid to stocky build.

He was wearing a red woollen beanie with a blue T-shirt and dark shorts with a white stripe down the side.
The call for information follows a spate of burglaries that has kept Moreland detectives busy throughout the holiday period.
The prestigious Northern Golf Club was burgled on January 3 and again on January 4 with $10,000 worth of clubs, clothing and shoes allegedly grabbed in the raid.
And, during a spate of home break-ins in Glenroy, Fawkner and Brunswick a $70,000 Mercedes Benz was allegedly taken on Boxing Day.

Detective Sergeant Jarrod Weddle said police had charged three people with burglary in relation to the December 5, 7 and 26 and January 3 and 4 thefts.
