He may have only been around for seven years, but JJ Mercuri Pantano has been honing his stand up routine his whole life.
The Pascoe Vale boy is set to tell some hard truths to the judges when he auditions on Australia’s Got Talent on Sunday, with pointed zingers aimed at Manu Feildel and Shane Jacobson.
JJ said he crafted his material on what he picked up around him and if his parents had any jokes to add.
“I love making people laugh because when they laugh it makes me feel happy,” he said.
“I laugh when they laugh.”
His mother Mary-Anne said from an early age, JJ was already cracking gags.
“He would do silly things around the house trying to get a laugh and say things he thought we funny, even if they weren’t at all he’d laugh about it,” she said.
When he is all grown up, JJ said he wants to be an actor and comedian.
Thanks to advertisements for the talent show, he is already handling the first hurdles of fame.
