A 24-year-old South Korean national has died following a collision between a car and a truck in the state’s northwest on Thursday
About 2.30pm a white sedan collided with a truck at the corner of Fifth St and Main Ave South in Merbein.
The female passenger in the car died at the scene.
The driver of the truck and the driver of the car were both taken to Echuca Hospital for observation.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined.
The intersection is still taped off as Major Collision Investigation Unit (MCIU) continue their investigations.
