Best hairdresser in Mildura: Nick Bolitho, ColourKing Hair and Beauty

The votes are in and Sunraysia’s best hairdresser has been decided by readers of The Mildura News. Meet the winner.

Sunraysia’s style kings and queens have had their say, choosing the region’s top trimmer.

Nick Bolitho of ColourKing Hair & Beauty

Nick Bolitho from ColourKing Hair & Beauty on Lime Ave topped the poll after a massive response from readers.

The Mildura News put the call out for favourite hairdressers and received hundreds of nominations, which were whittled down to a shortlist of 28 finalists.

Put to a vote, Bolitho came out on top.

Born and bred in Mildura, he has more than a decade of experience in the industry.

“I’ve always had a passion for hair, from a young age I knew I wanted to do something with hair,” Bolitho said.

ColourKing Hair & Beauty is about to celebrate its fifth birthday next month.

Bolitho had managed another salon for a few years before launching the new venture, which has a strong focus on colour.

“I’ve always liked the creative side of colouring hair,” he said.
