Thugs who savagely bashed a helpless teen on Hampton Beach attacked another man only minutes earlier.
The group has taken to social media to threaten victims of the two attacks which occurred near the Hampton Life Saving Club about 9pm on January 14.
Bayside crime investigation unit detective Sergeant Andrew Collison said police said they were examining CCTV footage from the scene and expected to make arrests soon.
The first victim — who does not want his name published — said he was sitting on a park bench enjoying fish and chips with friends when he was approached by two girls and a boy.

“The boy got aggressive after he thought we had made a joke about one of the girls,” the victim said.
“We asked them to leave but they refused then the boy said ‘I’m gonna punch you and bolt’.
“One of the girls knew my name and yelled out that I ‘bashed her’.
“They all threw punches and the boy threatened to glass me with a beer bottle.”
The victim said the confrontation was “frightening”.
“It took us by complete surprise so we were worried it was going to escalate even more,” he said.
The victim and his friends decided to run and hide after their attackers called for a group of “15 or 20 teens” to join in.
The boy said one of the girls took a photo of him and hours later he received a chilling message via Instagram which said he was “getting rocked”.
He received further messages on Instagram and said his girlfriend has been followed by people connected to the attack.
Last week, the Leader revealed how three boys were sitting by the water the same night when they were surrounded by a group of 15 youths.
The gang, described as caucasian, turned on one boy kicking the helpless 15 year-old in the head countless times.
The boy’s mum said the savage and unprovoked attack continued even after her son had slumped to the sand unconscious.
“He had no hope in hell, they just kept kicking until he was unconscious,” she said.
“My son was very lucky, if the attack had happened on concrete then he could’ve been a vegetable or dead.
“He won’t go back to the beach now, he’s too terrified.”
Bayside CIU confirmed it was investigating both incidents and are calling for witnesses.
