Shoppers in Camberwell will be among the first in Victoria to trial Woolworths’ new super store.
The retail giant will unveil the upmarket supermarket today in the Camberwell Shopping Precinct.
Customers can choose from a wider range of fruit and vegetables, a full-production bakery stocking freshly-made artisan bread, an in-store butcher and even a fish market.

There will be more than 80 different types of cheese in the new cheese cave and flame roasted chicken, a first-time initiative in Victoria for Woolworths.
Diehard sushi fans can get made-to-order rolls — with platter pre-orders also available.
A new Ready to Go section will be set up at the front of the store where customers can choose from a selection of ready meals.
The store will also have a new Pick Up bay to load orders for customers who choose to shop online using Woolworths’ Pick Up service.
Woolworths Victoria general manager Andrew Hall said the renewed store would improve customers’ shopping experience.
“Our teams have spent a great deal of time understanding how our customers like to shop, looked across the globe for inspiration and designed the store with local customer needs in mind,” he said.
“Every possible angle and aisle in this process has been revisited and the result is a rustic yet future-proof design with a real community spirit.”
Mr Hall also said the reinvigorated supermarket would also help reduce the impact on the environment
“We’ve fitted out the store with LED lights to reduce power, switched to carbon-efficient refrigeration and airconditioning systems and have an area in-store where customers can bring in their soft plastics to be recycled,” he said.
Woolworths Camberwell is open Monday to Sunday from 6am until midnight.
