A Mitcham man has been charged after he allegedly followed and took photos of women in shopping centres across Melbourne’s east.
The 37-year-old Mitcham man was charged with 17 offences, including producing intimate image and distribute intimate image.
He was arrested on Thursday.
Police allege the man followed women and then took photos of them with his mobile phone in a shopping centres in Ringwood and Glen Waverley.
He allegedly also did this at a motor event in Melbourne.
The man is believed to have uploaded the photos online.
The alleged offending occurred between March and July.
After his arrest, the man was bailed to appear before Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on September 2.
