Teenage boy robbed at knifepoint by three youths in Kew

A teenage boy has been robbed at knifepoint while waiting for the bus in Kew, before the machete wielding teens fled in a stolen car.

A 17-year-old boy was waiting at a bus stop on Willsmere Rd, Kew when he was robbed by three youths with a machete.

A teenage boy has been robbed at knifepoint while waiting for the bus in Kew, before the machete wielding teens fled in a stolen car.

The 17-year-old boy was waiting at a bus stop on Willsmere Rd on Monday at 2.10pm when three young boys approached him and made demands for his phone.

They then threatened the teenager with a knife and machete and stole his mobile phone before they got into an allegedly stolen car and drove off.

Transit Crime Investigation unit detectives will investigate the armed robbery.
