A Bendigo man has been charged after a car and a motorised scooter were allegedly stolen from a 92-year-old man in Echuca last week.

A Bendigo man has been charged after he allegedly stole a car and a motorised scooter from an elderly man in Echuca.
Police will allege the man stole a Mazda 2 from a Hare St property on January 22 at 5.15am.
The man, along with unknown offenders, also allegedly stole a motorised scooter from the same property between 4pm on January 20 and 8.15am on January 21.
He was arrested two days later after being spotted in the allegedly stolen car and was subsequently charged with theft of a motor vehicle, attempted theft of a motor vehicle and unlicensed driving.
The 31-year-old will appear at the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on March 31.
The motorised scooter, valued at $5000, remains at large.
