Strathbogie fire: Human remains believed to have been found
Human remains have been found following a fire in Central Victoria, authorities have confirmed.

Emergency services are investigating a house fire near Euroa after human remains were found.
Police attended a Kippings Rd property in Strathbogie to conduct a welfare check and found the property destroyed.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said a crime scene had since been established at the property.
“It’s believed human remains have been located in the property and investigators will await the results of a post-mortem to determine the cause of death,” they said.
“At this stage, the fire isn’t being treated as suspicious.”
A CFA spokesperson said fire investigators are assisting police with their investigation.
No CFA brigades were called to the scene.
