Hume Fwy: NSW truck driver killed in firey rollover in Northwood
Police have now identified the driver killed in last week’s horror truck fire on the Hume Fwy.

Police have identified a NSW truck driver as the person killed in a truck fire on the Hume Freeway near Seymour last week.
The 37-year-old man from Ashfield, just outside Sydney’s CBD, was the only person inside the truck and died at the scene.
Emergency services were called to the scene about 6.40am on Friday morning in Northwood.
It is believed the truck was travelling northbound on the freeway before it rolled and became engulfed in flames.
A man named Adam told 3AW he saw the truck had flipped onto its roof and was burnt out.
Police blocked off northbound traffic on the Hume Freeway between Seymour-Tooborac Rd and the Goulburn Valley Hwy.
VicRoads advised drivers to exit at Seymour-Tooborac Rd and detour through Seymour, before rejoining the Hume Fwy via the Goulburn Valley Hwy.
The closure had beeen in place for most of the day.
