Ms Crowley, who had recently moved to the area from Melbourne, was remembered by family and friends at a moving funeral in Hoppers Crossing earlier this year.

In the aftermath of her death, Ms Crowley’s mother Amanda said her daughter had offered to be an organ donor, which saved six lives.

Mr Jandhyala’s lawyer Kyle McDonald told the court they were seeking both a medical and engineering report to decide their next steps.

Mr McDonald requested an adjournment of eight to 10 weeks to gather both those reports.

Magistrate Simon Zebrowski agreed to the adjournment and Mr Jandhyala will face a further committal mention on February 19.
