Hugh Daniel Braumann, Korumburra Magistrates’ Court
A teen worker who was grabbed by the arm by an enraged dad at the KFC drive thru in Wonthaggi fears for his safety at work and has had trouble sleeping since the assault.
Hugh Braumann faced the Korumburra Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, where Magistrate Andrew Halse placed him on a community corrections order for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful assault, behaving in an offensive manner in public and resisting a police officer.

A sleazy rideshare cabbie who told a teenage female passenger she had a “perfect body” then brushed her hand on her lower thigh, a court has heard.
Abdirahman Shire, 37, was found guilty of one count of sexual assault at the Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court last week.

Sophia Mammone, 33, of Cardross, pleaded guilty to one charge of common law assault in relation to that incident, escaping with an $800 fine and a good behaviour bond.
