A European-esque villa nestled into a scenic corner of the Yarra Valley is set to go under the hammer, offering garden lovers a chance at a sea change.

The Yarra Valley’s answer to European garden architecture has made an appearance in the real estate market, as a Yering mansion is set to go under the hammer.

Villa Raedward has been listed by Noble Knight Real Estate for sale, inclusive of a main homestead and two side guest accommodation houses that have Airbnb potential.

The “hidden paradise” is slated to sell for up to $2.6m, offering a new owner a bite of Tuscany just outside of Melbourne.

Lead agent Anthony Knight said the picturesque property would be the perfect spot for anyone looking for a sea-change or a lifestyle shift, with the lush green gardens unfolding into the rolling hills of the valley.

“With the architecture and the established gardens, it’s a beautiful property, a real lifestyle property,” he said.

“It’s the kind of spot you wouldn’t even know was there if you drove past it. It’s a hidden paradise.”

With the current owners looking to downsize, Mr Knight said this was the first time the property had been offered for sale since it was built.

Mr Knight said the property was being sold as a single parcel but had the potential to function as a holiday spot.

“The current owners run the two separated units as Airbnbs,” he said.

“It definitely has the potential to continue be run in the same way, but we are just selling it as an owner-occupier property at this point.”
