Police arrest Moe woman after allegedly stabbing a Malvern man in Kingsford St, Moe

A woman has been arrested after a man was allegedly stabbed at a Moe home on Thursday morning. Read what we know.

Police have arrested a Moe woman after she allegedly stabbed a man in Gippsland on Thursday.

Emergency services were called to the residential Kingsford St in Moe to reports of a stabbing about 10.30am.

It is believed a 40-year-old Moe woman allegedly stabbed a 37-year-old Malvern man.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the man was taken to the Latrobe Regional Hospital in a stable condition with upper body injuries.

The woman was arrested at the scene and is assisting police with their inquiries.

The parties are believed to be known to each other.
