Police appeal for information about suspicious Buninyong house fire

Investigators have urged witnesses of a horror fire which “completely destroyed” a Buninyong house to come forward as pictures show the gutted shell.

A house fire in Buninyong is being treated as suspicious by Ballarat police.

Emergency services were called to a house fire on Winter Street about 8pm on Friday, July 15.

Six CFA vehicles attended the scene, which was declared under control just before 9pm.

Police said no one was home at the time and the house was “completely destroyed”.

Detectives have since appealed for any witnesses of the blaze to come forward.
