Alleged rapist Laurie Oliver faces Mildura Magistrates’ Court
A Red Cliffs teenager is accused of a raft of rape and grooming charges after he allegedly assaulted a child under the age of 16.

A 19-year-old Red Cliffs man is accused of grooming and raping a child under the age of 16.
Laurie Oliver is facing a raft of child sexual charges after he allegedly groomed a minor under the age of 16 in September 2023.
The Mildura Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday heard the alleged grooming occured between September 13 and 22, while an alleged rape is said to have occurred on September 22.
Mr Oliver sat stoic in the courtroom, as his lawyer requested the adjournment so he could receive a mental health assessment.
He will return to court for a committal mention on March 18.
