NuNu Skin and Beauty: Nicole Mildren voted Albury-Wodonga’s best beautician

With a passion for healthy skin, Nicole Mildren decided to open her own beauty salon in June – NuNu Skin and Beauty.
Less than five months later, she’s already built up a massive following and beaten nine other finalists to take out top honours as Albury-Wodonga’s best beautician.
After moving back to Albury in 2018, Ms Mildren worked at an aesthetic dental practice, which also did cosmetic procedures.
After having her two children, she decided she wanted to go out on her own, starting NuNu Skin and Beauty and bringing a range of unique cosmetic treatments to Albury.
While not a traditional beautician who does waxing, Ms Mildren focuses on advanced facials and peels, micro needling, cosmetic tattooing, fibro blast plasma, and BB Glow semipermanent makeup.
“I love natural aesthetics, and enhancing what you already have,” Ms Mildren said.
“Making things healthy whether that be internal health or skin health.
“Taking a holistic approach to beauty rather than putting a bandaid on it and just covering it up.”
Ms Mildren also has a Certificate IIII in pharmacy, which provided her with an in-depth knowledge about which vitamins to take to help the skin, and also knowledge about would healing.
Ms Mildren said he favourite thing about being a beautician was helping her clients achieve their skincare goals.
“Its getting the results,” she said.
“I love working out a treatment plan and taking little steps to tackle those concerns.”
She said she was very excited to win Albury-Wodonga’s best beautician, and wanted to thank the community for its support.
