Council staff refuse wage cut in wake of pandemic

Maribyrnong Council has baulked at the suggestion its hardworking staff, including its CEO who pockets more than $300,000 a year, cop a wage cut. Residents made the request in the hope it might ease the burden on ratepayers struggling to cope with the pandemic.
