EVE, 29, was saved by paramedics after her insulin pump failed and she was found in a coma on her floor. After paramedics spent 40 minutes stabalising her she spent days in intensive care where her family was brought from interstate to say goodbye to her, thinking she could not survive. But, she eventually woke with no idea what had happened - and is thankful for the work that was done to bring her back from the brink. Feeling unwell, Eve Sabine lay down hoping to sleep off a minor cold — only to wake more than a week later surrounded by relieved family members. That she woke at all is a credit to her paramedic heroes.
