He was jailed for dealing drugs but now he’s stealing hearts, and Australia’s “hottest prisoner” has big plans to follow in the footsteps of another prisoner-turned-pretty boy.

Australia’s “hottest prisoner” is taking tips from America’s “hot felon” while weighing up OnlyFans offers, after walking free from jail this week.
Yes you read that right.
A Frankston born father-of-two whose “hot” mugshot sent women gaga all thanks to Vic Pol, has revealed he plans to get into modelling a la America’s hot felon Jeremy Meeks.
But first he is considering his Only Fans options, because of course.
Pretty-boy drug dealer Jess Mabilia, 28, was sentenced in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday after pleading guilty to trafficking meth and GHB.
He was sentenced to time served of 113 days in pre sentence custody — almost four months — and was released on a 12-month community corrections order with conviction.
But he had already made headlines back in 2021 when Victoria Police appealed to the public on social media as to his whereabouts, posting Mabilia’s mugshot, pictured, in regards to a warrant for contravening court orders.
Despite the serious nature of the Facebook post, within minutes Mabilia’s sultry photo and resemblance to actor Robert Pattinson and John Mayer sent it into overdrive.
“Are you trying to lock him up or hook him up,” wrote one commenter.
“Charged with breaking and entering the hearts of single mother’s on Facebook,” another wrote.
“Is he on tinder or grindr? Asking for a friend,” posted another at the time.
Fast forward to this week and no sooner was Mabilia out and back in his Wonthaggi hometown, when the DM’s started flooding in from potential suitors.
“Yeah 100% so being back down in Wonthaggi, my hometown, I’ve already got a lot of messages today. Is that you? Seen a few people come up and what not. So it’s been pretty good, yeah,” Mabilia told Nova’s Ben, Liam and Belle.
“Why not hey.”
The reaction to Mabilia follows that of Jeremy Meeks’, dubbed hot mugshot guy, who sent women frothing globally after US police posted his wanted shot. The response landed him in prison, but also scored him a modelling contract and 1.4 millions social media followers.
Meeks was a felon who’s mugshot – think razor-sharp cheekbones and distinctive teardrop tattoo – went viral just like Mabilia’s after a local police department in the US posted it to their social media account in 2014 a bid to highlight the number of arrests they’d made in connection to weapons charges.
Within 24 hours, Meeks’ photo had acquired more than 15,000 likes and 3,700 comments, most of which centred on his appearance. And the fame only continued to grow with hashtags like #hotfelon #prisonbae.
The 32-year-old spent 27 months behind bars for possessing an illegal firearm. Almost a decade on, Meeks has walked in some of the world’s most high-profile catwalk shows, fronted fashion campaigns, starred in movies, and more.
As Meeks said recently: “I stepped fresh out of federal prison into the limelight. And my life changed completely.”
Plenty have got their five seconds for far less, as we live in an era when Hawk Tuah girl became a viral sensation after all.
Back to Mabilia and he says while he has had “Only Fans offers” he would love a launch a career in modelling like Meeks, or appear on a reality TV show.
“I‘d love to, you know, if my criminal record doesn’t get in the way, sure.”
And while on the topic of Victoria’s gangland, Melbourne TikToker and underworld commentator Ryan Naumenko is back in circulation.
Naumenko recently disappeared from the platform after some inflammatory posting had him punted into online orbit.
We’ll stay out of the exact nature of the offending material but you can guarantee it upset the apple cart pretty badly.
Even Page 13 knows when discretion is the better part of valour.
The Naumenko missives resulted in enough complaints to earn him the ban and, we believe, some gangland hostility.
Anyway, he’s done his penance and is back on TikTok offering his take on Melbourne’s underworld, the drug trade and tobacco wars.
