In a shock move, Australia is currently without a Mr World after Eden Dally dramatically stepped away from the title.
Dally has revealed he made the heart-wrenching decision to return his crown in order to focus on other opportunities — like the chance to punch on with fellow reality star Dan Webb.
In a battle of reality show beefcakes, the Love Island pin-up will square off against Married At First Sight’s Webb in a boxing ring.
The buff boys will box on in the name of charity in Brisbane next month.
“No matter what, I was crowned Mr World Australia and I will always consider myself Mr World Australia,” Dally said.
“It is very unfortunate, but we could not come to an agreement with the Mr World Australia team over the contract.
“The terms and conditions on the contract were very restricting and if I had of signed it I was pretty much signing my life away.
“So I have pulled out and there are some other opportunities I am going to pursue.
“I am disappointed that I could not go and represent Australia at the international final in the Philippines, but it gives another bloke an opportunity to go and do us proud.”
The proposed match-up between Dally and Webb could result in some serious fireworks outside the boxing ring.
Dally’s girlfriend Cyrell Paule and Webb’s ex-lover Jessika Power are set to attend.
Paule and Power are not mates and how they will cope sharing the spotlight on the night is anyone’s guess.
Having never boxed in his life, Dally is knuckling down at training.
“I have had plenty of fights outside of the ring, but I have never done any boxing,” he said.
“I am not going to underestimate Dan.
“I have six weeks to train and learn some skills.”
‘I MADE A MISTAKE’: NEIGHBOURS STAR BREAKS SILENCE
Meanwhile, Mr World Australia director Deborah Miller said a new Mr World was on his way.
“Don’t worry, Australia will be represented at the Mr World International final,” Miller said.
“We will announce the new Mr World Australia soon.”
Singer Harrison Craig who was runner-up to Dally at the Mr World Australia final in Melbourne in April, is understood to be unable to take up the title owing to touring commitments.
