The Block’s new contestants have arrived at the former Oslo Hotel in St Kilda to being their enormous renovation of the rundown property. Here’s who you’ll be watching on the tools in 2019.

A comedian and a couple who run their own design business are among the ten contestants overhauling the former Oslo Hotel in St Kilda on the new season of The Block.

Andy Saunders, a successful stand-up comic who has appeared in the Melbourne Comedy Festival, is trying to find the funny side of renovating the enormous rundown property in Grey St.

Meanwhile Sydney couple Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie come into the show with plenty of experience.

The gentlemen are enthusiastic renovators and have transformed numerous properties through their design business Edwards McKie Design.

They have also appeared on the TV show Aussie Property Flippers.
