What Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson learnt from court ordeal
After a rollercoaster year that including scoring a Logie nomination and appearing in court, Bonnie Anderson has opened up on her tumultuous 2019 and the lessons she learnt.

Neighbours star Bonnie Andersonhas described 2019 as a year of learning from mistakes and challenging herself.
Anderson has ridden a rollercoaster of career highs such as scoring a Logie nomination, performing internationally and releasing new music, and personal lows, specifically appearing in court for lying to police, but says she has emerged a better, more grounded and more aware person.
“It has been a really important year all round, the good and the bad, you just roll with the punches,” Anderson said.
“My dad always says through the bad times, keep punching and stay strong and that is kind of my motto in life.

“(This year) I have done the things that I have wanted to do and I have been proud of so many moments like being part of the Logies and putting out music that I want to put out.
“I have kind of grown up in the public eye since I was 12. You go through a lot of different stages and learn about yourself. I want to keep challenging myself to be a better version of me.”
Anderson will perform the national anthem at Flemington on Derby Day on Saturday. She and her boyfriend, Jordan Simi, will be guests at the Network 10 marquee that day.
“We are very excited to be going to the races together on Derby Day and I am very excited and always honoured to sing the national anthem,” she said.
