Bonnie Anderson will celebrate the release of her single on Friday with her new boyfriend by her side.
The Neighbours star and singer wrote her song, Never Be The One, about not always being perfect.
She is now dating Sydney-based Jordan Simi, after last month receiving a good behaviour bond when an inquiry found she lied to police to protect her drug-addicted ex-boyfriend Matt Arnautovic in 2017.
“Actually my favourite human,’’ Anderson captioned a picture with Simi.
Anderson said it was terrifying facing court but she has now moved on and is in “an amazing place”.
The 25 year-old, who rose to fame when she was 12 after winning Australia’s Got Talent in 2007, recently spent four days in London where she was cast on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, a new TV spin-off involving fan favourites from adaptations of the Got Talent format from around the world.
“Since I started writing about two years ago I just wanted to be really honest with my words and lyrics,’’ Anderson said.
“I don’t want to write a pop sugar song anymore.

“It’s very much about growing for me and being the best person I can be within everything I do. This is about relating to the imperfections of what this whole life is about.
“I’m in an amazing place, I feel very happy. Especially coming back from London, I feel it was the perfect timing. I’m feeling really good being back at work and just having music out.
“I’m on the show for another year and a half and I want to put out good music. I haven’t put in all this hard work to sit back and do nothing.”
