Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson was taking comfort with her dog yesterday after facing court this week.
But the actor’s Instagram post didn’t receive all positive comments, with one follower calling her out for lying to protect her drug-addicted ex-boyfriend, Matthew Arnautovic, 31.
Anderson received a good behaviour bond on Tuesday when she faced Ringwood Magistrates Court.
“I have no respect for you,” the comment read.
“My brother is dead because of an ex boyfriend like yours driving recklecklessly and putting live (sic) in danger.
“You lied saying your boyfriend was with you all day and not driving at all.
“I really hope you are charged, I hope Neighbours remove you from the show.
“My brother is dead because of liars like you and your ex boyfriend.
The follower then told Anderson to “sing your latest ‘Sorry’”, referring to her first single recently released and featured on the long-running soap.
Anderson has since deleted the comment from her picture.
She was charged after an inquiry into her former boyfriend and a dangerous driving incident in Mount Evelyn on October 22, 2017.
She captioned a picture with her dog: “My bear and I keeping each other warm on these winter days #delilah #mummasgirl.”
Anderson, 24, lied to investigators, claiming drug-addicted Arnautovic had been with her at the time.
She avoided conviction for her deceit, with the court date coming just a week after her appearance at the Logies where she had been nominated for most popular new talent.
Anderson first rose to fame when she was 12 after winning Australia’s Got Talent in 2007.
Channel 10 refused to comment.
