Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson is expected to take a break from Ramsay St to star on UK television.
Anderson, who won Australia’s Got Talent as a 12-year-old singer in 2007, is set to join Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions as a contestant in the reality show line-up.
“I have a great opportunity that I am heading overseas for shortly,’’ Anderson told Confidential. “Stay tuned.”
BGT: The Champions is due to begin filming in London on Wednesday.
The ITV talent contest’s new spin-off involves fan-favourite former contestants returning to compete for ultimate glory.
Successful acts from other global adaptations of the Got Talent format will also battle it to out for the crown.
Anderson has had a turbulent month after fronting Ringwood Magistrates’ Court and receiving a good behaviour bond.
An inquiry found she lied to police to protect her drug-addicted ex-boyfriend Matt Arnautovic after a dangerous driving incident in Mount Evelyn on October 22, 2017.
Anderson, 24, claimed Arnautovic had been with her at their Silvan home at the time.

Anderson joined Neighbours in early 2018 and was nominated for Most Popular New Talent at last month’s Logies.
She released her most recent single, Sorry, in April, and is signed to BMG music.
