Bonnie Anderson is hoping to emulate her on-screen sister Jodi Anasta by winning a Logie for Most Popular New Talent.
The Neighbours beauty will proudly walk the red carpet tomorrow at her first Logies on the Gold Coast, with the show receiving six nominations.
Anasta won the Most Popular New Talent award in 2006 when she was on Home And Away.
“We really are like a family and everyone has put in 150 per cent,’’ Anderson said.
“On the show we’re sisters but Jodi does feel like a real sister to me. I adore her, she’s my right hand lady. Now I’m nominated for the same thing I’m like, ‘we’ve got to do things together’.”
Anasta is on leave suffering exhaustion and will return to work soon.
Anderson, who rose to prominence as a singer, is focused on both passions.
“My time is definitely split 50/50,’’ she said.
“It’s going to be very special. With how much energy and effort goes into it, I’m proud to be part of something so spectacular.”
Anderson, pictured at the Mon Bijou penthouse at the Adelphi, will be dressed by Vivienna Lorikeet and styled by Dan Ryan.
