The Footy Show is on the move again.

The flagging show is covering more ground than a midfielder at the moment as it is shuffled around timeslots by Channel 9 in an effort to find more of an audience.

Having pulled just 93,000 viewers in Melbourne in the 7.30pm timeslot on Thursday the show has now been moved back to its traditional timeslot of 8.30pm Thursday this week.

That puts it once again head-to-head with Channel 7’s dominant football offering, The Front Bar.

Nine will run RBT at 7.30pm.

The Footy Show’s figure of 93,000 viewers for the April 25 edition was a marginal improvement from the April 17 episode, which drew a dire audience average of 63,000.

Nine is no doubt hoping moving the show around will expose it to new viewers who might decide to stick with it for future episodes.

So far that plan has not worked.
