CHANNEL 9 News presenter Alicia Loxley is expecting her third child with the latest addition to her family set to be welcomed in March.

THE Channel 9 News team is growing, with news presenter Alicia Loxley expecting her third child.

Loxley, who has two sons, Archie, 4, and Ned, 2, with husband Kane, will welcome the latest addition to their family in March.

“We’re really thrilled, if a little daunted about the return of sleepless nights, but seeing how excited the boys are about being big brothers has been very special,” Loxley said.

“Arch and Ned are really counting on it being another boy, so we’ve been trying to explain there’s not a lot we can do about that.

“The baby is due in late March and we’re not going to find out what we’re having. I loved the surprise with the boys so definitely want that again.”

The Nine Melbourne newsroom is experiencing a mini baby boom, with Justine Conway, Laura Turner and Jayde Vincent also pregnant.

“We’ve had quite the baby boom,” Loxley said. “It’s lovely to be sharing the experience with your colleagues. We might need to put a crèche in.”

Loxley is Nine Melbourne’s weekend newsreader and also presents the Nine Afternoon News in Melbourne.
