TRIPLE M bon vivant Mick Molloy has poured himself into the perfect business, buying a brewery.
“This is a classic case of I liked it so much I bought into the company. It (beer) is my strong suit, it is my favourite topic and I love it,” Molloy said on his KennedyMolloy radio Drive show.
Molloy, whose fondness for a beer has never been in question, has invested in Melbourne’s Brick Lane Brewing.

He is a very small shareholder in the Dandenong-based brewer along with a host of Melbourne sporting and business identities including Eddie McGuire, Bart Campbell, Shane Delia, Billy Slater, Tim Horan and Craig Kelly.
“I am a giant in this business. I don’t know much about many things but this is my strong suit,” Molloy said, later adding on Instagram’ “Congratulations to me. I’m now a part-owner of Brick Lane Brewing! Dreams do come true.”
Beer plays a big part in Molloy’s life.
His Channel 7 show The Front Bar is sponsored by rival beer company Carlton United Brewery.
Meanwhile Molloy and his Triple M co-host Jane Kennedy have finally gone public with what many in the business already know — they are radio royalty.
Their latest advertising campaign makes this clear with the pair portrayed as Prince Harry and his bride Meghan, wheeling around in full wedding regalia.
The image drew some unkind comments from the show’s fans including one comparing Molloy to Fred Scuttle from The Benny Hill Show and another suggesting his royal rig would look better matched with a black and yellow Tiger’s beanie.
