Glitzy real estate agent adds reality TV to his resume

He’s a star at selling luxury property and now high flyer Zed Nasheet will make his mark on the small screen.

Unstoppable Melbourne real estate whizz Zed Nasheet is turning to TV — or rather the cameras are following him.

Is Nasheet — with his trademark “Z” — going to emerge from the city’s bristling real estate ranks as a TV star on a new reality project similar to Josh Altman and Josh Flagg on Million Dollar Listings? Or D’Leanne Lewis and Gavin Rubenstein on Luxe Listings Sydney?

Nasheet, the principal and chief auctioneer at Zed Real Estate, was being followed by cameras for a reality series based on his big bucks business of luxury home deals at the launch of the sales campaign for a vast penthouse atop of Melbourne Square at Southbank on Monday.

The trophy property, which is still in its undressed shell form, has an asking price of $23m. It features spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping 360-degree views of Melbourne. As an added bonus the successful buyer will receive a package worth $1m to customise the penthouse with leading Australian interior design firm Coco Republic.

Nasheet kicked off the sales campaign with a black tie party for 300 in the penthouse complete with roaming performers, a champagne tower and drummers.

A note on the invitation advised guests filming would be taking place during the evening for a new Warner Bros show.
