Fox FM’s Fifi Box has described embarking on a pregnancy as single woman as the most comfortable decision she has ever made.
Box is expecting her second child in July, having conceived via IVF treatment using an anonymous male donor.
“I have never felt more comfortable and confident in a decision I have made in my life,” Box said at Fox FM’s Sunset Session.

“I strongly believe if you get to the stage in your life where you want something, now we have those options.
“I am lucky to have an amazing support network.
“It is a brave new world and it is not something that every single woman does … but I was so overwhelmed with support and encouragement.
“I love being a single woman. I have been really lucky in my life and I have a career I love, I have a little girl I love, and now there is the excitement about having another little baby — girl or boy — I don’t know yet. I am keeping it a surprise.”
Box, 41, who has a daughter, Trixie, 5, said finding out she was pregnant again brought her jubilation, excitement and euphoria.
However, she could do without the morning sickness.
“I have have gone from an E (bra) cup to like a H cup at the moment. I’ve had fluid retention, heartburn, reflux, nausea,” she said.
“It is ironic because I wanted to be pregnant so badly but the symptoms I get wracked with, it is almost like I am being punished.
“I suffered the worst morning sickness. In December, I was in bed for about four weeks.
All through Christmas I was so sick. I kept having to go to hospital to be put on a drip.”
