COULD Fred and Mary, Denmark’s Crown Prince and Princess, and Barack and Michelle Obama be among the dignitaries set to attend the Invictus Games in Sydney in October?
With the Games founder Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, confirmed as attending with his bride, Meghan, the event already has a royal flavour.

But why have one royal couple when you can have two — and a former US first couple?
The Obamas and the Duke are already close. The former US president attended the wheelchair basketball with Harry during last year’s Invictus Games in Toronto and the pair exchanged a “challenge” via a video on Twitter in the lead-up to the Games in Florida in 2016.
Sources said on Saturday Game organisers had received “no confirmation yet” that the Obamas would be making the trip down under.
When asked if Prince Frederik and Mary would be in Australia for the Games the Danish Royal’s press office said: “Unfortunately, it is too early to say.”
Founded by Prince Harry in 2014, the Games bring together wounded, injured and ill active duty and veteran service men and women.
The Invictus Games will be held in Sydney from October 20- 27.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are tipped to arrive in Australia around October 18.
They will go on to visit Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand after wrapping their Australian commitments.
