Tania Buckley and her new man have made an eye-catching first public appearance, with the former footy WAG sporting a huge sparkling diamond ring on her left hand.

The couple put on a stylish and loved up display with Buckley simply saying “we’re very happy” on arrival.

The pair, who are believed to have been together for a while, posed on the media wall at the launch of the BYD Sealion 6 SUV electric car at the Docklands Studios, with the giant ring on her left engagement finger hard to miss.

Buckley met Kelly through motorsport as both her sons, Jett and Ayce, race go-karts.

Kelly is a businessman who is understood to live on a farm just outside of Devonport, Tasmania and owns commercial property in the state.

He is a former Australian Formula 5000 speedway champion and multiple Tasmanian title holder and his son Cruz races in Victorian events.

Footy’s glamour couple, Tania and Nathan, separated in 2020 after 18 years of marriage, and she is now selling their luxurious Toorak home with a price range of $18m.

Just recently during the fallout of their split, Nathan auctioned more than 200 items of private memorabilia from his playing days, with items attracting about $200,000.

Other guests at the BYD launch included Laura Dundovic, Eleanor Baillieu, Sharon Johal, Con Ilio and Moraya Wilson, with a special performance by Amy Shark.
