Neighbours star and singer Bonnie Anderson has split with her boyfriend Jordan Simi, saying she is focused on her career and future.
“Jordan and I decided to separate a while back, I’m focusing on moving forward and some exciting career opportunities that are coming up,’’ she told Confidential.
“With everything that we are going through, this year has been one for crazy lows, but I have been mindfully focusing on what’s best for me and how I can reach my full potential.
“I am surrounded by positivity. I’m putting myself first and I feel I am at an age where the most important thing to do is feel good and do good.
“Music, acting and the people in my life that bring out the absolute best in me are my priority.”
Anderson and Simi, from Sydney, started dating around August last year and looked to be going strong.
She said she learned from mistakes last year, which included highs such as a Logie nomination, performing at the Melbourne Cup Carnival and internationally, and also personal lows when she received a good behaviour bond after a court inquiry found she lied to police to protect her drug-addicted boyfriend in 2017.
The 25-year-old, who rose to fame at 12 after winning Australia’s Got Talent in 2007, spent time in London last year where she was cast on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, a new TV spin-off involving fan favourites from adaptations of the Got Talent format from around the world.
