Melbourne billionaire Adrian Portelli has finally revealed the name of his five month-old son.
Portelli and partner Karlie Butler welcomed their first child in January and called him Mercy.
One of the first luxury cars Portelli bought was a rare orange Lamborghini Murcielago believed to be worth more than $700,000.
Portelli gave a subtle hint on social media about the name when he posted a picture of baby Mercy on top of the supercar with the Mercy number plate.
Portelli and Butler have been together for more than a year after meeting at a bar.
Butler prefers to stay out of the spotlight and live a low key life.
Portelli is loving fatherhood, often posting pictures of his adorable newborn.
The LMCT+ founder praised Butler recently, saying she has access to all his credit cards but “won’t spend a frigging cent”.
He gave her an Aston Martin DBX, which retails for around $350,000, as a push present for her baby shower in November.
“She’s not materialistic at all and doesn’t care about money or fame at all, she’s desensitised,” Portelli told close friend Troy Candy on his podcast.
“She said when I bought the jet she said does it have a shower on it.
“She’s actually just a real private person. She’s very private, she doesn’t like attention. She’s not on socials, she never posts, she’s one of those girls who’s very low key.”
Portelli said being a father had given him new perspective.
“(I have a) new-found respect for women,” he said.
“My partner’s with him 24/7, up with him every hour, doesn’t sleep so hats off to her. It’s a blessing. It’s a spitting image, I’m looking at myself, and I’m like oh man can’t wait to live life with you when you’re older.”
Portelli revealed he owns around $30m in cars and around 25 houses and workshops.
