Brooke Blurton says she is loving being a footy fan but hasn’t turned into a WAG just yet.
The former Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise star relocated from Perth to Melbourne at the end of March.
She has been seen at Geelong games and was snapped embracing Cats’ rising star Jed Bews at a recent event.
The bisexual mental health and youth worker, said she has been supporting her cousin, Geelong midfielder Quinton Narkle.
“We’re really good friends,’’ Blurton said of Bews.
“I love footy and I’m loving that I get to experience it. My cousin is Quinton Narkle, he’s originally from Perth.
“You be photographed with a footballer or with any girl, like I was with (singer) G Flip, and people want to assume you’re automatically linked. But I’m not dating.”
Blurton, who came to prominence on the Nick “Honey Badger” Cummins series of The Bachelor, says she hopes to move into presenting.
The 24 year-old is supporting the national Tread As One event, between May 15-22, where Aussies are invited to walk, run or even dance on a treadmill to clock up as many kilometres as possible to raise funds for suicide prevention charity R U OK.
“When I stated working in mental health there was still a massive stigma about it,’’ Blurton said.
“A lot of brands and organisations are giving a bit more awareness to mental health.
“I’ve been constantly surrounded by it. I love what I do and it does take a toll on you but I’ve always been quite invested in the process.”
