Bachelor favourite Brooke Blurton looks set to move from reality star to WAG as she is embraced by a budding Geelong star.
Blurton who is bisexual and was dating musician G Flip in February, is now “hanging out” with Geelong player Jed Bews.
Is this the AFL hottest new couple in the making?
The pair were first linked earlier this year and since Blurton relocated from Perth to Melbourne in March they have been spotted regularly together with The Bachelor In Paradise star supporting the Cats enthusiastically from the stands at various games so far this season.
In the past week it was pretty hard to ignore the pair as they posed for pictures at the launch of the Ball Magnets App at the MCG on Wednesday and attended an art exhibition opening in Geelong the following day.
And in a very modern show of support, and a classic #boyfriendsofinstagram move, Bews has even been filming social media content of Blurton. A youth worker, Blurton is also a successful influencer working with brands including Garnier and Ford.
Blurton came to prominence on the Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins series of The Bachelor where she revealed to Cummins that she was attracted to both men and women before sensationally quitting the show.
She later appeared on Bachelor In Paradise where she briefly hooked up with Alex Nation.
She described singer and musician G Flip (Georgia Flipo) as her Valentine in February.
In March Blurton confirmed she had been sounded out about being the Bachelorette, but said if she were to say yes there would have to be male and female suitors on the show.
“There was some conversations being had, but nothing has been offered,” she said.
“How I generally see it, hypothetically, is that because I like men and women if I was the Bachelorette it would be run so differently,” she said.
“I don’t know how these big networks would take that risk.
Bews, a defender, has played 109 games with Geelong.
