Alex Pike tells of ‘year of living’ after split from Nathan Buckley

Cosmetic nurse Alex Pike says she’s had a “wonderful year” focusing on herself following her split from Nathan Buckley in January.

Glamour cosmetic nurse Alex Pike says 2022 was the year she “lived”.

The model mum of three has travelled to the US, is studying in the hope of working abroad, and has plans to keep growing her practices.

At the start of the year her relationship with footy legend Nathan Buckley ended and she’s since focused on herself.

“I’m definitely not seeing anyone, I’m keeping to myself’’ she said.

“I’ve been studying for my exams to be a registered nurse in the states so it’s just when I visit

I can actually work. It will be a long-term goal.

“Concentrating on health and fitness and the family, I’ve had a wonderful year. I have to say the year of 2022 was the year I lived.

“I’ve travelled a lot and it’s been really wonderful. I’m really lucky I’ve got a great network in America.”

Pike, 45, stepped out to attend the NGV Gala for the first time on Saturday night.

She has cosmetic clinics in Albury, Sydney, and Melbourne, and has developed a loyal customer base as she continues to document her journey of making lifestyle changes.

She said being a mum to her children Spencer, Hudson and Jim was the priority.

“The older two are at boarding school now so it’s just the little one but motherhood always does come first,’’ she said.

“I’ve been busy, work has been wonderful and the practice is growing. It’s good to be home.

“I’m really looking forward to the Summer with the boys.”
