Kyrgios’ girlfriend in horror health scare

Nick Kyrgios’ girlfriend Costeen Hatzi has revealed her terror at being rushed to hospital in Mexico after becoming seriously ill.

Nick Kyrgios’ girlfriend has revealed she was rushed to hospital with a serious illness after arriving in Mexico last month.

Costeen Hatzi said she was admitted with a kidney infection and described the situation as “scary”.

Tennis ace Kyrgios was playing an exhibition event called Tennis Showdown against Brit Cameron Norrie, which he won.

“I was so sick in hospital I didn’t get to see much of Mexico!” Hatzi wrote in an Instagram q&a.

“I had a fever on the flight & ended up going straight to emergency when we landed. I had a kidney infection.

“Luckily the tennis association & hospital staff were so extremely caring & helpful. But it was a little scary being so sick in a whole different country. The tacos were amazing though.”

Hatzi admitted she was a “little overwhelmed” by all the travelling with Kyrgios but confirmed she had become a full-time influencer and content creator.

“Mid Last year I finished my psych degree in May while working at a car dealership, then I got a job doing content creation/managing socials for businesses while running my own small business selling home decor,” she wrote.

“Now I do influencing/content creation as a full time job. It has been the most rewarding & enjoyable job I’ve had. Met so many amazing people & worked with so many cool brands. I always wanted to pursue my career in psych but the travelling has kind of hindered that for me.

“Maybe in the future I will come back to that but my job now is flexible & I can work from anywhere in the world.”

Hatzi and Kyrgios just celebrated their first anniversary together and appear more in love than ever.

She said she will be by his side again at the Australian Open.

“Yes super excited I love AUS open it’s my fav tournament!!!!”

She added she can’t take credit for Kyrgios’ good form.

“I can’t take the credit for this, he is an amazing tennis player all by himself,” she wrote.

“We both support each other with our work & aspirations which is a huge factor.”
