Former Collingwood star Dane Swan has revealed he is expecting his first child with partner Taylor Wilson.

Dane Swan has announced he’s expecting his first child with partner Taylor Wilson.

The former Collingwood star said their baby is due on February 21.

“The cat’s out of the bag, not that I was hiding it because it’s very hard to hide a pregnant woman,’’ Swan told KIIS FM’s Jase and PJ.

“The only person I think in Victoria that’s loved being in lockdown has been my Mrs, because I haven’t had the chance to get out.

“Every time we’d go back into lockdown I’d be sitting there blowing up, going ‘oh this sucks and I want to go out and get my last few months of freedom in’, but she’s smiling and laughing.”

Swan, 36, said it was funny now how much he noticed prams and pregnant women.

He is expecting to be sent a lot of free baby products now.

“Online it’s been deadset a package has come every day to our house,’’ he said.

“It’s enormous how much stuff kids need. It’s wild.

“We see prams everywhere, and pregnant women.

“I’m expecting to get some free sh*t.”

Swan, who played 258 games for the Magpies, won a Brownlow Medal and a premiership, said he wouldn’t have fared too well in a hub.

“Not great. I probably would have had a kebab,’’ he said.

“I probably would have brought COVID into the hub. I would have cracked it at some stage.”
