Meghan Markle ‘changes mind’ on kids’ royal titles

Meghan Markle has reportedly made a major backflip after talking with Prince Andrew’s daughters.

Meghan and Harry ‘got what they wanted’ and have been ‘trashing the royal family’

Meghan Markle has reportedly changed her mind over her children’s royal titles after talking with Prince Andrew’s daughters.

Royal commentator Neil Sean claims Markle had a “dramatic change of heart” regarding the importance of their titles after speaking to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

“Harry and Meghan are very, very keen to cling on to those royal titles,” he told The Mirror.

“After much deliberation, Meghan decided that the titles would be a good thing, not just for her but for both her children too.

“Meghan become very friendly with senior members of the monarchy, predominantly Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.

“After this, Meghan realised how useful a title can be, particularly when you want to move in the correct circles.

“That is the reason why they want to clutch hold of titles.”

Currently, Markle and Prince Harry’s son and daughter, Archie and Lilibet are allowed to be referred to as Prince and Princess but haven’t been granted the HRH status.

According to The Sun, Markle had previously dismissed any interest in her children being acknowledged with royal titles.

SUSSEXES ENJOY DATE NIGHT

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be under intense scrutiny ahead of the publication of his forthcoming memoir, and her comments criticising the royal family – not to mention the pressures of raising two small children.

But the couple were recently spotted enjoying a relaxed night out together in the mountain town of Ojai, California.

Markle, 41, and Prince Harry, 38, chose to dine at a village bakery, café and restaurant named, funnily enough, The Dutchess.

Sources shared details of their date with HELLO! and revealed that the couple were mostly unnoticed for the duration of the evening, but looked happy and loved-up in each other’s company.

An observer said: “They came in just the two of them, and it was very impromptu, no reservations, very low key.”

The Dutchess restaurant, which specialises in Burmese cuisine, appeared to satisfy the healthy couple’s dietary preferences.

“They loved the food – the naans are made in house, they take two days to make from scratch, in an imported Tandoori oven. The chef even makes his own ghee. Everyone said they were really great, and they had a very pleasant time.”

The Duchess gets its name not from royalty but from the eatery’s original oven – which goes from baking pastries in the morning to being the heart of the restaurant in the evening.

To get to the establishment, the Sussexes would have travelled 32km from their home in Montecito, where it is thought Markle’s mother Doria Ragland stepped in for babysitting dutie so the couple could enjoy themselves.

Ms Ragland lives in View Park-Windsor Hills district of Los Angeles, and is said to be involved in helping with the kids, 3-year-old Archie and one-year-old Lilibet.

Markle and Prince Harry have a two-bedroom guesthouse which is available for Ms Ragland when she makes the one and a half-hour’s drive to visit.

Markle has previously commented that since she became a mother she is even more grateful for the support she received from her mum growing up.
