Three motorbikes stolen from Biggera Waters business in brazen theft

Police are searching for a group of men who stole three trail bikes from a Gold Coast business using a distinctive trailer. Watch the video.

Police are searching for a group of men who stole three trail bikes from a Gold Coast business using a distinctive trailer.

The men broke into the Gateway Drive, Biggera Waters motorbike business about 3.30am on April 3 using an angle grinder to break the locks.

CCTV shows the men, wearing balaclavas and face coverings using the power tool to break the locks.

It sends sparks flying.

The group then loaded the three bikes onto a trailer with a large equipment box on the front.

The stolen bikes were a 2018 KTM500, a 2022 KTM500 and a 2020 KRM250.

The car used to pull the trailer was a black 2009 Ford Ranger dual cab with a tray back and large toolbox.

The grail had been parked on Pine Ride Rd and stolen at sometime between March 31 and April 3.

It is a custom built blue and red trailer with a large box at the front.

On Monday police released CCTV of the theft.

Police are urging anyone who recognises the men, the ute or the trailer to contact Police Link on 131 444 or their nearest police station.
