Embattled reality TV personality Suzi Taylor has claimed she will fight a raft of drug and property charges after surrendering under her own arrest warrant.
The 52-year-old was dressed in all black with stiletto heels when she attended Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.
Taylor was allegedly found with small amounts of cocaine, meth, and marijuana when police raided a unit on Musgrave Ave, Southport on November 11 last year.
It is alleged she also had a glass pipe and a suspected stolen major haemorrhage kit. Taylor is not alleged to have stolen the item.
She was subsequently charged with breaching her bail conditions after allegedly failing to report to police as required.
The court was told on Thursday that a warrant for Taylor’s arrest was issued last week, when she missed a mention for the breach of bail charge.
Defence lawyer Michael Gatenby, of Gatenby Criminal Law, said his client did not realise she had to attend separate court mentions for the two sets of charges.
It was heard Taylor also reportedly left the courthouse without signing her bail undertaking at her last appearance.
Mr Gatenby said Taylor’s remaining charges were set to proceed to trial, with a review currently listed for next month.
Taylor’s arrest warrant was recalled and cancelled.
All of her matters will return to court on May 16.
